Hi guys! So if you are following me over on my instagram @hellotashablog then you would have seen that I spent the last week in Paris.  I'd never been before so I was beyond excited to see and do everything.  I took a gazillion photos but I will be sharing everything about my little trip so keep your eyes peeled for those posts.  For todays post though I wanted to share what I wore on my trip over there, I only had hand luggage so had to be as concise as possible but turns out it was 39 degrees when we were there so I was glad for my minimal clothing.

Day 1: We actually arrived in the late afternoon so I just headed out in what I travelled in on that day.  For travelling I always want comfort so my Topshop pleated trousers were perfect, elasticated waist and loads of room for pure comfort, I teamed it with just a plain black body from Primark and jazzed up the outfit with some tan accessories, my hat and black choker.  Although the outfit was comfy and even though we only walked around for a couple of hours I was so so hot as we landed to 30+ degree heat and all black was probably not the best idea.

Day 2: I was more prepared for the heat on day 2 so chose my favourite Topshop shorts (which are now £10 in the sale!) and a little black cami top, it kept me cool all day despite the blistering heat.  I wore my Topshop lace up sandals throughout the whole week as they are just the comfiest flat shoes although they did give me some rather hilarious tan lines.

Day 3: When planning my outfits for Paris, the one item that was first in my bag was this New Look bardot dress.  It's super light-weight and I thought it would look really chic to walk around Paris in.  I've featured this dress on my blog before in this post if you want to read a little bit more about it.

Day 4: Another travelling outfit, we were leaving in the afternoon so spent the morning wandering close to our hotel so I wanted something easy and comfortable.  The heat was still unbearable so my black pants were a slight mistake again but super comfy to walk around in.  The orange cami top I just threw on to try to keep cool but I love the casual vibes of the whole outfit.

What's your favourite look that I wore? 1, 2, 3 or 4?

Thanks for reading as always!

  1. I love all four outfits, but outfit 3 is my favourite! You can't go wrong with a Bardot dress!
