5 Tips To Make The Most of Shooting Outfits When You Work Full Time

Working full time and being a fashion blogger doesn't always work hand in hand.  Finding time to shoot your outfits, edit them and get them uploaded is pretty difficult when you work long hours and sometimes the last thing you want to do in the evening is spend more time on the computer working and weekends you just want chill out and enjoy the most of your time off.  I work some weekends as well so I really need to make the most of my time off so I'm able to create content for the blog so for todays post I've scrambled a list of top tips to make the most of shooting outfits when you work full time (long title I know but how the hell could I have shortened it?)

1. Get Up Early: Set your alarm early, not god awful time early but early enough so that you can get a good start on the day and make the most of it.

2. Plan Your Outfits: Plan your outfits so you know exactly what you want to shoot and that includes all the accessories.  It might even help to get them out the night before so you can get up and get ready to go.

3. Shoot More Than One Outfit: To make the most of your time off and so you can create as much content as you can so your blog is ahead of schedule, try to shoot more than one outfit at a time.  Going hand in hand with point number two, if you plan your outfits and know what you want to shoot, why not do it all at once?

4. Know Where You Want To Shoot: Deciding where to shoot a look can be quite difficult as there are so many options, do you go for a plain white background or do you want more lifestyle shots for the post? Have a think and see what kind of location would best suit the outfit that you want to shoot.  Knowing exactly where you want to shoot will ensure that you can shoot the outfit as quick as possible.

5. Know Your Poses: If you are a fashion blogger and have been for a little while then you will know what poses to do so you can get the right shot.  For me now I can pretty much move from pose to pose like clockwork as I know what works for me.  This really quickens up the process and if I know what I'm doing then I can pretty much get an outfit post all shot in about 10-15 mins.

So there ya go, 5 top tips to make the most of shooting outfits when you work full time.  Most weekends I follow this structure so I can get ahead of schedule with my blog and it really doesn't take up too much of my weekend so I can still enjoy it and do what else I want to do.

I hope you find this post helpful! Do you have any tips to make the most of shooting outfits when you work full time? Let me know down in the comments!
