BEAUTY: Drugstore Makeup Look

I do love high end makeup but sometimes I really can't justify spending that much money on a foundation or whatever else, I would much rather spend my money on clothes so drugstore products are my fave.  There are some really great products out there that shows you don't have to spend a lot of money with your makeup, with that in mind, here is a full drugstore makeup look!

Starting with my base I chose my trusty L'Oreal True Match Foundation which I've just re-purchased as mine had run out and I love it.  It applies beautifully on the skin, gives medium coverage and is one of the best drugstore foundations that I've tried.  I missed out on powder and went straight for contouring by using the SEVENTEEN Define & Conquer Contour Kit* to give me some kind of warmth and definition to my face.  This was the first time using this palette and wow I loved it! The contour is not too muddy but has a real warm tone to it that just looks ultra natural on the skin.  The highlighter that is included in the kit, just compliments the contour as again it is so natural and not too in your face and glittery on the skin.  It's the perfect highlight for during the day.

For blush, I used the SEVENTEEN Stamp Blusher*, to be honest I was quite skeptical about using this product as it's quite unusual and unlike anything I've ever tried before.  It's basically a sponge applicator that you press into the colour in the lid and then dab onto your cheeks.  The colour transfers really easily onto the skin and although it does apply quite circular, once blended it gives such a lovely flush of colour.  The blusher is incredibly pigmented and so blendable on the skin, a super affordable blusher that I've been reaching for everyday since.

Eyes, I kept it simple with a wash of colour from Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr in Pink Gold, which is such a gorgeous colour and super easy to apply.  It's one of those products that you can reach for when in a rush or if you're after a simple but effective look.  I loved the colour so much that I just left it as it was but I'm excited to build it up for a more dark pink smokey eye look soon.  I used my favourite eyeliner Collection Fast Stroke Eyeline for a full on feline flick and finished off with copious amounts of Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, a really great lengthening affordable mascara.

I finished off my drugstore look with SEVENTEEN Lip Crayon* in this lovely nude colour.  I love lip crayons as they are so easy to apply, this particular one is extremely moisturising and gives an almost glossy look on the lips.

I'm really happy with the final look and am so impressed with the contour kit and the blusher, I've been reaching for them daily!

What do you think of this look? What are your favourite drugstore products?
