September Favourites

Time to round up my my favourites from the last month.

Reading on my iPad: I now commute to work by train so it's the perfect time to catch up on some reading and I'm really really enjoying it.  I'm currently reading 'A Clash of Kings' for the second time (I read them all a couple of years ago) and it's such a great read.  Even if I only read a chapter or so a day it's nice to just sit back and relax.

MAC Hue Lipstick: I love MAC lipsticks and they are always featuring in my favourites or makeup routines, this months favourite is Hue.  A soft sheer pink that is just perfect for everyday at work.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics: This is my go to eyeshadow palette at the moment, I use all the shades and love creating a brown muted smokey eye.  I love that all the shades are matte too as it makes them so wearable for the day.

Wishbone necklace*: I very luckily received this wishbone necklace from Jewellery Box at the Bloggers Festival and it's just the cutest! It's so dainty and I've literally been wearing it everyday, it's just the perfect accessory to wear.

Real Techniques Triangle Foundation Brush: I'm a die hard fan of my Real Techniques Expert Brush Face Brush but recently I've been all over the Triangle Foundation Brush.  It took me a little while to get used to it as it's so completely different to the Expert Face Brush as the bristles are so much stiffer but when used with L'Oreal Infalliable Matte Foundation it applies so beautifully and really gives me such a flawless base.

Benefit POREfessional: This is a new purchase for me and was a little treat to myself after payday.  It feels so soft and really smoothes out my skin, I tend to focus more on my T-zone and chin as they are my problems areas.  I apply this under my makeup and it just smoothes out my skin before applying with my foundation.

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry - Pit Stop: My latest love is this gorgeous colour from Barry M.  It's a greyish lilac shade that just looks so beautiful on the nails.  It's from Barry M's Speedy Quick Dry range which is true to it's name, it applies so smoothly on the nails and dries uber uber quickly.  I've literally been wearing this non-stop since I bought it.

Lily Flame Candle - Fairy Dust*: This was a birthday gift (bear in mind my birthday was in March) which I've only just started to burn because it was literally TOO pretty to.  I literally burn it for 20 mins/30 mins max so it doesn't burn down too quickly but even that leaves the most gorgeous sweet powdery scent.

What have you been loving in September?
