BEAUTY: Mini Boots Haul

Isn't it annoying when all your beauty bits run out at exactly the same time? It always seems to happen to me so it was time I took a little trip to Boots for a re-stock!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer: Yes, I among the entire bbloggers in the world is obsessed with this concealer! Firstly the price point is just insane and not only that but it is a really really great product which gives great coverage, doesn't crease or anything.  I've heard rumours that it was getting discontinued but then I've also heard that it's just getting re-formulated, whichever is true it's making it incredibly hard to track down this product.  Luckily I found the last two in Boots so scooped them both up just in case I couldn't find them again!

Seventeen Stay Time Long Wear Primer: I picked this up on a bit of whim to be honest.  My current primer (Body Shop Wonderblur)  is coming to the end so needed to pick a new one up pronto.  I've been hearing great things about the brand Seventeen so when I saw this primer and gave it a quick test on my hand I thought it was worth a shot.  It's a cream primer which I like and a little really does go a long way.  What I'm not so sure about is the texture of the product as it is quite tacky therefore it's not easy to blend into the skin, although because it is quite tacky the product does tend to stick.  I've tried this with a mixture of foundations and come to the conclusion that it doesn't work well with L'Oreal Infallible Matte 2hr (my foundation went all flaky and it literally started peeling off my face) but it does work rather well with L'Oreal True Match (gives more of a glow).  I think this is a product that I'm going to have to keep testing as so far I'm not 100% sold on it.

Clinique Lip Chubby Stick in Roomiest Rose: Now this was technically a free gift when my mum was buying some other Clinique products but this isn't her colour so she passed it on to me.  Having said that it isn't really my colour either.  I never wear red/dark pink lips at all. Give me the choice of a pale pink and a red and I will choose pale pink every single day.  But I decided to give this a go and you know what I really really like it.  It's a dark pink borderline red but not too in your face and if I pair it with neutral eyes and a light pink cheek then it doesn't look too bad.  Because it's a chubby stick, it's super easy to apply, very moisturising and lasts on the lips surprisingly well.

Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Smooth Moisturiser: I'd run out of my Soap and Glory Righteous Butter and needed a replacement, I used to use this one when I was out in Australia so it will always remind me of there.  It's super nourishing on the skin and just smells amazing.

Batiste Dry Shampoo: Batiste is my favourite dry shampoo brand, I don't tend to have a preference on the scent of them so I pick up a new one every time I go, this time I chose 'Bloom' which just smells really fresh and floral.

Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Hair Spray: I tend to stick to Tresemme for my hairspray but I smelt this one and couldn't resist it.  Raspberry and Vanilla hairspray? Yes please! It smells phenomenal and doesn't leave the hair feeling too stiff or sticky like some hairsprays.  Defo worth the purchase.

What do you think of my purchases? Do you use any of these products?
