The Sunday Post: A Big Fat Catch Up

Hi guys! I feel like I haven't had a catch up with you in so long! This month has been pretty busy but the thing is I can't even remember what I've done.  Do you ever have months like that?  I'm still working at my two jobs which can be quite full on and at times I'm ready to quit one of them but then I realise that I really do enjoy both of them so just get on with it.

Blogging wise I feel like I've taken a step back.  I schedule a lot of my posts and always have at least 2 weeks scheduled in advance so I'm always pretty organised.  This coming week is all I have scheduled though and it's starting to bug me, I've got so many posts in my drafts but I just haven't had the time this month to write them up.  I love scheduling as it means that I can always be consistent but I do feel like I lose touch with my blog as I'm always creating my content so far in advance.  But on the other hand I don't think I could be the kind of blogger who writes a post and just presses publish there and then, I'm not spontaneous enough and I do like to have some routine to my blog.  I'm so thankful for the Bank Holiday as it just gives me an extra day to prepare for the coming weeks.

Last week I started my '12 week Bikini Body Challenge' as part of my Bootcamp group which I was pretty excited to start.  I've really slacked off with my clean eating and exercise and had got myself into a bit of a rut and it was defo starting to catch up with my body.  So it was time I did something! 12 weeks takes me to my holiday so it was the perfect motivation that I needed to get started.  I'm thinking of doing a full post on my 12 week challenge but in a nutshell it's just focusing on clean healthy eating and attending my 3+ bootcamp sessions a week.  It is not a full on diet and I am not starving myself, I am just cutting out the crap and only putting good food in, well that's the plan anyway.  For week 1 we had a challenge to drink 3L of water a day and I haven't done too bad.  I'm not one for drinking water as I don't really like the taste of it but I've found a way to drink more of it.  I've been adding frozen berries, cucumber and mint and leaving it overnight in the fridge, come morning and I have the most amazing flavoured water! Super easy!

WOW, big well done if you've made it all the way through this post, I told you I hadn't had a catch up with you in so long! How has your week been? I'd love to know what you've been up to and I hope that you are all enjoying your Bank Holiday weekend!
