FOOD: Salad and a Smoothie

I love eating healthily and over the past couple of months I've tried really hard to get into a good routine of eating daily fruit and vegetables and so I thought I would share what I've been eating a lot of recently.

Smoothies are so quick and easy to make and are just so delicious!  I recently purchased the Breville Blend Active and I've been making smoothies so much more as it's made in less than 5 minutes.  You literally pop all the ingredients in, blend away and there we go! Enjoy!

My favourite is a 'Very Berry smoothie':

- half banana/full banana (depending on your preference)
- handful of mixed berries
- greek yoghurt
- ice

Salads are my food of choice for lunch at the moment as they are so clean, yummy and are surprisingly filling.  This one is a chicken, avocado salad with pine-nuts, cucumber and a little cheese (that's the naughty bit!) and I love it!
