Birthday Haul

It was my 23rd birthday on Tuesday (man I'm getting old!) so after kindly being given money for my birthday I decided to treat myself to a few bits, so what did I buy?

Firstly are these chunky cages sandals from New Look, now these shoes were all the rage whilst I was in Australia and I hated them with a passion, I just thought they look so clumpy but it's surprising how a couple of months can change your views.  Recently I've been thinking more about them after seeing them in New Look and then realised that I had to have them! For £24.99, I think they are quite reasonable and I know they will be featuring in lots of outfit posts.
Next is this gorgeous blusher from Marks & Spencer and I know you're sat there thinking 'Marks & Spencers for make up, you can't be serious?' Well I am.  Deadly.  Marks & Spencer beauty products are actually made by the same company that makes Clarins so yes high quality stuff.  This blusher is a gorgeous pink with a shimmer of gold running through it which is perfect for brightening your face.  I can't wait to wear it!
I couldn't not buy the Benefit Gimme Brow after seeing so many amazing reviews on it, I'm currently testing it out and so far so good!
Mum treated me to a Tangle Teezer after I've been harping on about one since I've come home and I've only used it twice but so far it has made a massive difference to my hair once it's wet, it's so easy to brush through now and really detangles.
I decided to treat myself to 'Brave' MAC Lipstick as I couldn't stop thinking about since I swatched it last week, I've got an upcoming blog post about this very soon!
Clothes wise, I only bought myself a few bits, this top from Forever 21 is so simple but so cute, I love the textured print of it, just different from a standard white tee.  If you read my blog last year, you will know about my love for shirts.  I needed a new white/cream shirt so this one from Miss Selfridge is perfect, I plan to wear it under some bright jumpers to get me through spring.  Finally I bought this daisy print jumper from New Look which I absolutely love, again I love the texture of it and the pastel pink colour will be perfect for spring.

That's everything and I'm very happy with my purchases! What do you think?
