Au Naturale

Right, I've decided that I'm not going to straighten my hair for a week (well except my fringe) in an attempt to make it more healthy and *fingers crossed* grow.  Ever since I've had my hair ombre'd it's gotten drier and drier but it's been a month since I made my last trip to the hairdressers for a dye and cut job and so far my hair seems to be in pretty decent condition.  I'm a religious Moroccan Oil user so maybe that's the reason why it seems healthier but I am also a religious GHD girl.  I tend to use my straighteners daily (sometimes more depending on what I'm doing) and I know that it doesn't help the condition of your hair so this is my attempt to help give it a boost of life.

My natural hair is wavy/frizzy but I use Charles Worthington Front Row Rough and Tousled Salt Spray to help eliminate some of the frizz.  It's an amazing product and gives natural waves.  I've found it works best on half dried hair, few spritz's then scrunch the hair every so often.  Voila!

So, no straighteners for a week, let's see how it goes!

Does anybody else give their hair a break for a while and not use straighteners? Have you used Charles Worthington Salt Spray?

  2. Hello! I do give my hair breaks from heat as much as I can. I have frizzy wavy hair too so it can be tough, but I use the no heat curl method which works great for me! Really wanna try that salt stuff too! And totally agree, Moroccan oil is fab!! Your hair looks gorgeous, the umbrella looks so good on you!xx Rachel

    1. Yeahh I think it's a good idea to give your hair a break every now and then. I would defo recommend the salt spray, it's just so easy to use and you get great results too! Moroccan oil is my SAVIOUR! haha xxx
